hi, i'm holly.

I design things, and I also know how to build them, which I promise is more useful than it sounds.

currently I'm getting my master's in HCI at carnegie mellon, and before that I studied CS and design at UCSD. I care about both how things look and how they actually work (which I think makes the design better at both). lately I've been thinking a lot about AI and what it means to design for something that can respond back.

outside of work, I've been figure skating for 15 years (yes, I can spin on the ice! no, unfortunately I can't do a triple axel). I also shoot a lot of photography, practice calligraphy, and try to visit every coffee shop within a reasonable radius.
